Don't see a movie or show you want? You can request it directly from the Discover library:
In Jellyfin, open the Discover library from your home screen
Browse or search for the movie or series you want
Click the Favorite (heart) icon on that title
That's it — favoriting automatically sends the request. No separate app or login needed.
Requests typically take anywhere from a few minutes to a day or two to become available, depending on availability. The title will simply appear playable once it's ready — no need to check back manually.
📺 A note on TV series: requesting a series gets you the first season only. Want more seasons? Just ask the server admin directly and they'll be added.
3Watch on your TV
Jellyfin has free apps for all the major streaming devices. Install the app, then when it asks for a server address, enter: https://fin.hzserver.us and log in with your same username and password.
Roku: Press Home → search the Channel Store for "Jellyfin" → Add Channel. (Roku's store may claim a cable subscription is required — ignore that, it's a store quirk. No subscription is needed.)
Amazon Fire TV / Firestick: From the home screen, search for "Jellyfin" in the Appstore → Download. It's the official free app.
Apple TV: Open the App Store on your Apple TV and search for "Swiftfin" — that's the official Jellyfin client for Apple TV. Install it, then add the server address above.
Phones and tablets too: search "Jellyfin" in the App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Google Play (Android).
